Foyae tackles erosion, land degradation in Gombe

In our effort towards addressing environmental issues in Gombe State, Foundation for Youth Awakening and Empowerment (FOYAE) in partnership with UNDP Global Environment Facility Small Grants Programme is executing a project titled “Building Resilience and Tackling Land Degradation in Kundulum" , Akko LGA of Gombe State.

As part of the project activities, we held an advocacy and sensitisation session with relevant community stakeholders to sensitise and obtain their commitment to the project. The community expressed their gratitude to UNDP GEF Small Grants Programme and Foyae Gombe for the timely intervention and promised to give their full cooperation towards its successful implementation.
