Stakeholders’ project inception forum
In week three of the project, precisely on 19th May, 2016, the project held a stakeholders’ forum at Women Development center, Ministry of Women Affairs, Gombe. The event was well attended by 35 stakeholders
The objective of the forum was to abreast stakeholders of the project, adopt strategies and activities to be implemented during the project period, increase mutual understanding among stakeholders and increase awareness and on civic rights and responsibilities of respective stakeholders. Stakeholders bored their minds on the issue of misunderstanding between civilians and security agencies. Many of the stakeholders emphasized the need to say the truth and walk the talking. The entire event was a huge success.
